About Us

Syncrosec is a well-established company that was founded by Warren Matthysen in 1999. We initially only provided electronic services such as CCTV, DStv, Intercom, Access Control, Security and Home Automation to the residential and commercial markets. In recent years we have expanded with a large focus now being the optical fibre industry where we have built a reputation for quality workmanship.

In 2016 Syncrosec Fibre Solutions was founded by it’s four partners Warren Matthysen, Mark Thomas, Christiaan Schoeman and Carel Bester. This business was established to provide services to a variety of Fibre Network Owners (FNO’s).

In 2017 Syncrosec Installations was registered as a subsidiary operations company to support SyncroSec Fibre Solutions in the optical fibre industry with market leading fibre network owners such as Vumatel, SA Digital Villages and Frogfoot Networks. Our services include fibre installations for both homes, businesses and multi-dwelling units (MDU’s) as well as scheduling through our call center, fibre network planning, project management and acquisitions.

Our strength is that we are one of very few companies that are both fibre optics and electronic services installation specialists, providing our clients with turnkey solutions.

Fibre in homes and business are opening up many new opportunities for growth with the ongoing expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT). Homes and businesses of the future will become more and more automated through control and mobile devices. Our added electronic services experience, makes us unique in offering our clients both fibre and electronic solutions, putting us right at the forefront of the faster-internet revolution.
